Hand crochet top yoke has small squared lattice design with scattered floral design. Has extended short sleeves, raglan armhole. Natural colored cotton muslin top is slightly gathered into the cotton crochet yoke. Turned hem at sleeves and bottom with 5 inch side slits. Neckline and yoke edges are embellished with a small scalloped crochet edge. Oversized to allow for shrinkage.
Warm natural colored beige cotton crochet yarn and natural muslin top takes Procion Fiber Reactive Dye beautifully in solid colors. Keep in mind that dyes are transparent. The natural coloring of this top will combine with whatever color you dye it. So if you dye it a light shade of blue, the finished color result will appear as a greenish (teal blue) tint. Dye it red and it will end up with a slight warm orangey glow to the red. This beautifully made top looks great undyed, too!
