A popular shirt with tie dyers and screen printers. Even harder to find though, than Gildan's regular shirt is their PFD tee for dyers. Made from 100% 6.1 oz. Compacted Cotton Jersey. Seamless double needle collars, taped neck and shoulders and double needle hems. Ultra tight knit surface for printing. PFD only sewn with cotton thread for better dyeing. A good quality shirt at a great price. Not pre-shrunk.
IMPORTANT: If you have been buying this PFD shirt for years, Gildan has stopped bleaching and optically whitening it. New shipments are now an off-white color - true PFD. Fantastic for garment dyeing, and fine for tie-dye where white is not a large part of the pattern. Can be lightened quite successfully with bleach and optic whiteners.
