Kona Worsted is part of the popular Kona family of merino super wash wools. Four ply for durability, it's machine washable on a gentle cycle. Dry flat, or in the dryer on "air" setting. It's a true worsted weight, and perfect for next-to-the-skin soft hats, sweaters, and mittens.

I really love this worsted. It's soft and heavy. It feels strong and it's quite smooth. I can't wait to see how it dyes up. It's a tad expensive for me but I'll save for it. I will definitely be ordering a larger amount when I can afford it.

Made a blanket for my daughter with a lace pattern in the center and a raised pattern border. Yarn is soft and easy to work with. The finished blanket dyed up a beautiful dark blue with acid dye and remained soft and flexible (no felting or shrinkage) after a machine wash (cold water delicate cycle). People and pets are now competing for who gets to watch TV under "the blanket". my new favorite yarn!!!!
