New High Density fabric! This is a moderately heavy 5 oz. 18/1 100% preshrunk cotton jersey T-shirt that's set a new standard for screen printing and is still great for dyeing. It's compacted and now has more density (more fibers per sq.inch) for less shrinkage and better print coverage that comparable shirts this weight. They are now using a finer yarn, so the higher density surface is smoother and shows perfect detail for screen printing. In fact, High Density fabric prints better than any other t-shirt fabric on the market!
It now has a new improved seamless rib crew neck that is taped in the back from shoulder to shoulder, and now double needle cover stitched in front for a nicer look and more strength. Another new improvement is that they are doing a lower relaxed crew neck instead of the traditional high crew neck, which is so much more comfortable.
It has the usual double needle hemmed sleeves and hem. Widely used for screen printing, tie-dye and painting when a good quality yet still economical shirt is preferred.
The 5 oz fabric is a perfect weight for those more intricate tie-dye folds.
